This notice explains how Olano ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through olano.ai, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
What we collect
When you request a consultation, we collect the details you submit in the form: your email address and any optional context you choose to add (such as your name, company, industry, the channels you use, and your enquiry volume).
We also collect anonymous, privacy-preserving usage analytics to understand how the site is used and to
improve it: the pages you view, the site you arrived from, an approximate location, your device type
(mobile, tablet, or desktop), and clicks on key buttons. Some of this comes from our own first-party,
cookieless analytics - it sets no cookies and does not store your IP address (your IP is used only to
derive a short-lived, anonymised daily counter that lets us estimate unique visits), and it collects
nothing at all if your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. Our marketing
pages also use Google Analytics (GA4), which sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and
processes this usage data through Google to give us aggregate audience and traffic reports; we use it
only for analytics, not for advertising or to build cross-site advertising profiles. You can opt out via
Google's Analytics opt-out add-on
or by blocking cookies for this site.
Why we collect it
We use your email address solely to contact you about Olano early access, your deployment quote, and product launch updates. We do not sell or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing.
How it is processed
Assessment requests and usage analytics are stored in our own database (hosted on Supabase) and are accessible only to the Olano team. A new assessment request also triggers an internal notification and a confirmation email to you, sent through our email provider (Resend).
Access, correction, and withdrawal
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data - or withdraw consent to be contacted - at any time by emailing support@olano.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
