Agent ranges are a guide to capacity, not a cap - create as many as you like on any plan. The low end of each range fits agents that are busy all day; the high end fits agents that answer a few messages an hour. What fills an instance is how much runs at the same moment, not how many agents exist: one Starter agent can serve thousands of customers over a day, just not a thousand at the same time. Size for your busiest hour - conversations at once, agents working in parallel, heavy scheduled jobs - and move up a plan whenever the box starts to feel slow. What is a credit?
Credits pay for Olano-managed model usage on your deployment - 1,000 credits is $1 of usage. Each plan includes a monthly allowance; top-ups never expire. Plug in your own provider keys instead and that usage bills to you directly.
Do I pay per agent or per person?
Neither. You pay for the machine and the model usage. Agents, teammates and connections are unlimited on every plan - the recommended agent counts above are sizing guidance, not a licence limit.
Can I move up a plan later?
Yes, in place, on the shared line. Dedicated and Private AI plans are chosen at deploy time because their hardware cannot be resized into - moving to one means a fresh deployment.
What is not included?
Implementation. The plan price covers hosting, updates, monitoring, snapshots and model access; designing and building your agents is yours to do in the dashboard, or Olano Studio's if you would rather it were done with you.
