Selected work

Government tenders, monitored twice a day and turned into decision-ready reports.

A marketing agency wanted to stop discovering public tenders late - or not at all. The Olano team built a custom API into the government tender platform, giving an agent full access to every tender's description, requirements, and attachments. The agent sweeps the platform twice a day, identifies the tenders the agency can genuinely compete for, scores them by fit, and delivers an email and PDF report with a draft plan and risks for each - alongside the standing media monitoring the agency already runs on Olano.

The challenge

Public tenders are published in a steady stream, each with its own description, requirement documents, and deadline. Watching the platform by hand meant someone remembering to check it, opening each listing, reading the attachments, and judging the fit - so promising tenders were found late, with less time to prepare a strong application, or missed entirely.

The agency's recurring research had the same shape: industry news, public mentions of the topics they manage, and topical digests assembled from many sources - the same manual loop of searching, skimming, and summarizing, repeated every week before client work could start.

What we built

The Olano team built a custom API into the government tender platform, so an agent reads every tender in full - description, requirements, and attachments - not just the listing title. The agent runs as a scheduled task twice a day, compares each new tender against the agency's specialisation, and scores the matches. Everything runs read-only, and people decide what to pursue.

Tender intelligence agent

Monitors the tender platform through the custom API, captures the full requirements of every matching tender, and turns each batch into a report the team can act on.

  • Full descriptions, requirements, and attachments - not just titles
  • Matches scored by fit to the agency's specialisation, best first
  • Email and PDF report per batch, with a draft plan and risk outline as the starting point for each application

Standing research briefs

The same deployment runs the agency's recurring research: media monitoring and topical digests assembled from many sources, summarized with citations.

  • News and public mentions watched on a schedule
  • Every item cited back to its source
  • Delivered before the team needs it, reviewed by a human before anything reaches a client

In their words

Two comments from the agency's team, quoted verbatim.

These reports are excellent. Thank you so much!

A marketing agency Tender intelligence & media monitoring

Read-only research, approvals for everything else

Intelligence work is the safest place to start with agents, and this deployment is built that way on purpose.

Read-only by design

The monitoring agents run at trust levels 0–1 (Observer and Assistant): they read, gather, score, and summarize. They don't send, post, or change anything on their own.

Approval gates on anything outbound

Any outbound action beyond the scheduled reports - an email, a post, a client-facing message - waits for human approval by default. Nothing leaves the workspace without sign-off.

Immutable audit trail

Every action the agents take is recorded in an immutable audit trail, so the team can see exactly what was gathered, when, and what was produced from it.

Private, isolated workspace

The agency's agents, documents, and connector tokens live in their own private, isolated workspace, encrypted at rest and in transit.
